Gallery 709 at Montana Art & Framing is proud to present “Between Heaven and Earth,” an exhibition of artwork by Jerome Albee, opening First Friday, October 2.

A longtime Missoula resident with family roots spanning multiple generations, Jerome is also a United States Army veteran. His work explores landscapes, memory, faith, and the human condition, drawing from both personal experience and a genuine love of painting.

For Jerome, creating art is also a way to give back and to express what he carries in a positive and beautiful way.

Of all the work he creates, Jerome says he is most proud of the portraits he paints for Gold Star families. These pieces hold a particularly personal meaning for him, allowing his artwork to serve as a tribute to those who have lost loved ones in military service.

“Those pieces mean more to me than anything else, because they allow my art to become something personal, meaningful, and given in honor of others.”
