Ghost Towns of the American West
Gallery 709 in Montana Art and Framing exhibits Lee Silliman- “Ghost Towns of the American West”. An opening reception with live music by Jay Alm is March 6, 5-9 pm. This black & white photography exhibit focuses upon the vestiges of ill-fated western enterprises. These unintended monuments to man’s former strivings are the subject of Lee Silliman’s 8x10 inch view camera. These photographs were taken over a twenty-year period in ten western states. “Seasons” Watercolor Paintings by Nancy Fitch
Gallery 709 in Montana Art and Framing is exhibiting “Seasons”, watercolor paintings by Nancy Fitch, January 9–30, opening Friday January 9, from 5-9 pm. Nancy captures the seasons with wonderful color and representational skill. The works are ready to hang without glass since the paper and pigments have a protective coating. Gallery 709 Winter Update
Gallery 709 and Montana Art & Framing will be taking a brief pause over the next few weeks due to some health-related downtime. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for all the kind messages and support—it truly means a lot.
